HSBC and Mastercard Host Elevated Culinary Arts Experience at Hudson Yards
“We gather at this incredible venue overlooking Manhattan’s skyline to celebrate our clients,” said Racquel Oden, the event’s host and U.S. Head of International Wealth and the Private Bank. “Thank you for allowing us to support you and your families with your financial goals and wealth objectives.”
As part of the celebration, guests took in breathtaking 360-degree views of New York City with The Freedom Tower, The Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty all visible from the southeast corner of the venue.
The experience was also an opportunity for HSBC to showcase new health benefits from the HSBC Premier Mastercard. In partnership with Aspire Lifestyles, HSBC is pioneering the introduction of health and wellness benefits for its Premier clients. These offerings extend beyond traditional banking services and include spa discounts, adult-care support, fitness experiences and a range of lifestyle solutions designed to support overall wellbeing.
The evening continued with a spectacular four-course meal prepared by brothers and renown Chefs Michael and Bryan Voltaggio, two of the most recognized and respected names in American cuisine. Their accolades include competing on Top Chef Season 6, where Michael was crowned champion and Bryan was runner-up. The brothers’ work has also been showcased in outlets including GQ, Food & Wine and Esquire. They have also expanded beyond food with the recent launch of their own ultra-premium tequila brand, Marcado 28.
Overall, their precision, creativity and innovative styles were front and center with dishes that revolved around themes of wealth, health and travel. Plates included white truffle and caviar cheesecake as well as a divine short rib bulgogi.

“I‘ve never cooked at this level,” Bryan remarked, a reference to the height of the restaurant on the 101st floor. “We’re the only people having this dinner and enjoying this view tonight. And I get to hang out with my brother. This is a day at the beach!”
Indeed, the evening‘s most unique moment came with the desert course, which was prepared live during a table-side demonstration: coconut-lime semifreddo, coconut sand and frozen passion fruit lassi – all meant to evoke the warmth of “A Day at the Beach” during a frigid December evening in the city.
From the food to the hospitality, it all helped clients kick off the holiday season in soaring fashion.
